Ease of Use
The ImageMaker-C poster printers are designed to be easy to use. Simply place your original on the scanner glass and press a single button. In seconds, you will have a full-color poster size copy of your original. It’s that simple.
For most applications, that’s it. Just push the large button in the center of the scan unit control panel. That doesn’t mean that you don’t have options though. If you want to get a little more creative with your project, you can press one of the other four buttons which have been configured to enhance the results when using different types of originals, or if you want to do something with your scanned image other than just printing it as a poster. In most cases though, you still just press one button.
For example, there’s a button to use if your document is black and white, or another button to press if you want a higher quality print. There is also a button to use if you want to save a copy of the scan, and a button to use if you want to scan an original that isn’t a standard letter size document or 8” x 10” photograph. In all except the last case it’s still just one button press and you’re done. The poster then prints, and is automatically cut to size.
The custom button is the one that you use when your original is a smaller size. You will be able to crop the image to the proper size on the touch screen, and set the resolution for your desired quality. Once the original is scanned, you can print it as a poster, or poster-sized photograph. You could also save the file to a flash drive to take with you to use or share as desired.
Speaking of flash drives, you also have the option of printing a document or image from a flash drive. You can use images saved in a variety of windows compatible image formats, including JPG and BMP. You can also print from a PDF document. They automatically print in poster size. You don’t have to do anything special.

Speed and Quality
Posters can print in as little as two minutes in full-color. Alternatively, you can
increase the print quality and print high quality posters on standard heavyweight
or glossy photo paper. Changing the print quality is easy to do on the touch screen
of the control unit.
